Power season 4: Hulu offers another way to get immersed in Starz drama

Power

Want to get involved with Power before season 4 starts this summer? If you’re fast enough, and you have Hulu, it’s possible to get yourself started.

The streaming service has now acquired the first two seasons of the Omari Hardwick drama, which is killing it on Starz right now with the biggest ratings currently on the network. It is also consistently one of the most-underrated series of its kind, with Hardwick, Lela Loren, and Joseph Sikora routinely turning in some pretty fantastic performances.

Season 3 of Power will be available on Hulu a little bit later this year, which means that if you do want to be completely caught up before the show premieres, you’re going to have to subscribe to Starz in order to make that happen. Still, not a bad deal in order to check out more of a really great show, right? This is another way for the network and studio Lionsgate to get another way to monetize the show. Sure, nobody LOVEs the idea of thinking about the business of television, but it’s super-important from the vantage point of finding more creative ways to fund the show and keep the profits rolling in. Power already has a renewal for a fifth season, but this could help to further ensure that there are many more seasons to come even after that.

Power season 4 is set up on the surface to be one of the biggest ones to date, just because of the way in which things are starting off. (Warning: There are some plot spoilers ahead.) The conclusion of the recent third season featured Ghost getting arrested by none other than his former love Angela (Loren); while he may be guilty of many things, this is not a crime that he actually committed. With this in mind, one of the big struggles for him moving forward this season is going to be trying to figure out adequate ways in order for him to clear his name without the help of a whole lot of people. He’s not someone who really has a ton of friends left.
