Suits season 7: Preparing for 100th episode and more

From now until the day of the landmark episode, the network is giving you daily videos at this link of 100 of the show’s best moments. Take a look at it here. It’s almost akin to seeing a tiny piece of a Suits highlight reel, or the world’s longest clip show where you get a tiny taste of it every now and then. It may make you nostalgic for early seasons, and hopefully along the way super-excited for the show to come back.
If you are interested in getting some more news in terms of what’s coming up, here is what the network had to hand down as a season synopsis:
“Now that Mike is officially recognized as a lawyer and has accepted Harvey’s offer to return to the firm, Season 7 will see the team back together again at Pearson Specter Litt – each dealing with their own struggles as they adjust to a new world order without Jessica (Gina Torres).”
The good news for many Suits fans is that this season will feel in some ways like some of the earlier ones — Mike is back in the saddle, and this time doesn’t have a secret weighing him down! He should be able to do some great work without that burden in his mind.
However, there are also two other problems that he should be aware of. First and foremost, there may still be an albatross from his trial and time in prison present to a certain degree — there is a stigma that comes along with what he went through, and that is something that he is going to have to combat. Meanwhile, Jessica was the lifeblood of the firm, and while she’s been gone from a little while save for an appearance in the finale, there’s still an adjustment period there. With Mike back, this is the first time this specific configuration has been present there.
