The Voice results: Did #VoiceSave get Hunter Plake, Brennley Brown, Jesse Larson in finale?

Jesse Larson

Tonight, The Voice results have a bigger task than usual: It’s the red wedding of results show! Only four artists will remain for the finale. The rest will be taking a final bow, but only briefly since many of them will come back to sing during the finale in some shape or form.

Like with every other results show piece, this one will be updated live! Be sure to check back with further updates as the night goes on. No matter what happens, there’s a talented enough field this season is that there’s going to be a good roster of people for the finale.

First Artist Saved – Chris Blue. Given that he was in the top two on iTunes leading up to the finale, this was no surprise at all.

Second Artist Saved – Lauren Duski. She was the other artist in the top two. Therefore, another no-surprise situation.

Third Artist Saved – Aliyah Moulden! She was on the bubble of advancing, but the combination of her song choice (“I Can Only Imagine”) and her going last on the show lifted her up to this point. Congratulations!

#VoiceSave – It was down to Brennley Brown, Hunter Plake, and Jesse Larson! Only one of them would make it to the finale. Of the three, the pick should have been Hunter based on overall body of work and potential — however, Brennley also had a substantial audience. Poor Jesse was left out in the cold here … seemingly.

Advancing artists – Jesse? Yep, this is just as shocking as it sounds. Somehow, he got the most votes (maybe in part because of Adam Levine only having one artist in danger versus two from Gwen Stefani), and now he gets a chance to move on in unexpected fashion.
