NCIS: Los Angeles is over for this season! What’s a fangirl to do this summer?

Los Angeles

On Sunday night the viewers got to see the NCIS: Los Angeles season finale and it was epic. Agent Sam Hanna got his wife’s killer in midtown Los Angeles and Agent Kensi Blye took the plunge and asked the man of her dreams, Marty Deeks, to marry her. It was a perfect ending to a fast season.

If you’re a fangirl of NCIS: Los Angeles like me, then you probably are feeling a little low. The series is over, there will be no new episodes for several months and the summer hasn’t even started yet. It’s a huge black hole of emotions that goes from sadness to exasperation. Of course, any loyal fan of the show wants more….but now the waiting begins.

What is there to do this summer while waiting for the new season of NCIS: Los Angeles? Well, everyone keeps telling me that I still need to show up for work. Beyond that, I’ve decided to schedule a little NCIS: Los Angeles time to pass the time. Here’s my agenda for the summer:

To finish out May, I plan to crank up the CBS live stream and watch all of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 over. It’s a great way to relive some of the action, pay tribute to Miguel Ferrer and watch the show with a new eye. Maybe I’ll find a few interesting tidbits about I missed before.

In June, I am going to check out some of the best episodes in the series. Going beyond season 8, it will be great fun to catch up. Who doesn’t want to watch some of best take downs handled by NCIS: Los Angeles and hear some of Callen and Hanna’s funniest banter?

July is where I want to explore some of those TV scenes in person. The backdrop of Los Angeles makes this show come alive. The final episode, where the tour bus was driven around, was in Hollywood. Other places I want to check out is the boat shed in Marina Del Rey and head down to Long Beach where the famous lighthouse is always seen in the background.

NCIS: Los Angeles fans will need to wait

The plans for August are still a little foggy I admit. After watching the show, checking out the locations and even reflecting on how the characters might change with the new season, I am sure I will be reflecting every fangirl’s emotion. I will be freaking out as August is when the CBS teasers start rolling out for the new season. Perhaps I will be sitting on my hands trying hard not to make any predictions. That might be impossible! After all, I am a serious NCIS: Los Angeles fan and I know that the summer is the hardest part of survival when it comes to be a loyal viewer of the show.
