Big Brother Canada 5: Was Dillon Carman, Demetres Giannitsos evicted?

Who was evicted tonight on Big Brother Canada? There were two different possibilities in Dillon Carman and Demetres Giannitsos, and on the surface the choice was clear.

What makes matters more unclear is the presence of Karen, a woman convinced she is making big, impressive moves when really she’s living in her own world and possibly handing Ika or Demetres a million dollars. The mistake comes back to Kevin for not nominating Karen and giving her the power — how could he trust someone who hated him for most of the season to do things in lockstep with him?

It was clear entering the eviction that Dillon would be leaving; he knew it, and chose to make his eviction speech more about helping those struggling with their mental health. Classy move. He could have done more to further along his chances of lasting in the game, but this is the result. Dillon is not a guy clearly used to working with his emotions, so that befell him in a big way.

Even with his goodbye messages, Dillon still didn’t seem mad at Karen! This entire season is madness; it’s almost reminiscent of Survivor: Tocantins where people are falling over themselves in order to give Ika or Demetres the money at the end.

Head of Household Competition – Given that this was a game of questions, you would assume that this would serve as a level playing field; unfortunately, it wasn’t shown off in the episode tonight.It’s fair to say that either Ika or Demetres will be the winner based on everything that was shown off during the broadcast.

Don’t worry, as there will be another update soon detailing the Head of Household winner and what this means for the remainder of the season. Beyond that, next week you will see the Big Brother Canada Awards, the final four Veto, and a whole lot more leading to the finale on Thursday night. Expect a crazy week ahead, and remember that the big finale will be here in just a matter of days.
