The Leftovers season 3 episode 4 promo: Kevin, Nora journey to Australia

The Leftovers season 3 episode 4 is airing on HBO next week, and one of the biggest things to expect here is a journey to Australia.

We have to think that Damon Lindelof has a certain fondness in his heart for the country. In Lost, we saw characters leaving there in hopes of making it back to Australia. Meanwhile, here there are characters heading to the place, a sacred location already judging from the depiction of the stories both past and present. Specifically, this is something that you are seeing with Kevin Garvey Sr. over the course of Sunday night’s new episode.

Now, we’re about see Kevin and Nora make the trip down after deciding at the end of this past episode that will venture down, following the many carrots of clues that they uncovered over the course of episode 2 when Nora got the phone call and the Perfect Strangers cameo like no other. Will they be able to get the answers that they so seek? It’s a great question, and it’s the basis of what could end up being one of the series’ best episodes.

The Leftovers season 3 episode 4 synopsis – “Kevin (Justin Theroux) and Nora (Carrie Coon) travel to Australia, where she continues to track down the masterminds of an elaborate con, while he catches a glimpse of an unexpected face from the past, forcing him to confront the traumatic events of three years earlier.”

One thing that absolutely does excite us is the opportunity to see many elements of the series coming together. The Leftovers is a show that often starts off with a series of loose threads, which in turn gives you a responsibility to try to figure out how they fit together. This episode will be an opportunity to get some answer … some, but not all. You’re never going to know the origins of all this.

Promo – This gives you a sense of the sting operation, and also so much more that is coming with some of the characters on the other side of the world. Think of this episode as a life-shattering one for so many characters … and a potentially world-changing one, as well.
