Blue Bloods season 7 finale spoilers: Is Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny in danger?

Blue Bloods season 7

The title for this Blue Bloods season 7 finale spoilers piece is admittedly a tongue-twister, but the question very much is accurate. What sort of danger is Danny Reagan going to be in? We do know already that many of these finales do love to feature the show’s main characters in situations of grave danger, and this one appears to be no exception. By the time we make it to the end of this hour, signs suggest that we are going to be wonder whether or not Danny will be able to emerge in one piece after being targeted by a pretty powerful organization.

For a little bit more information, all you have to do is check out the full synopsis.

Blue Bloods season 7 finale synopsis – “When Danny intercepts a shipment of several million dollars that was heading to a drug cartel in Mexico, he becomes a target when they come back for revenge. Also, Jamie works independently to track down a serial killer who preys on the elderly, and Mayor Poole (David Ramsey) confides in Frank that he plans to retire.”

One of the first reactions that we have upon reading this is that Jamie working independently sounds like a great story; yet, it also suggests that Eddie won’t be a part of it. We know that there are some wondering about Vanessa Ray’s absence, but we get the sense that she will be back come season 8 if she’s not in the finale.

As for the Frank storyline, this largely feels like a culmination of almost everything that we’ve seen on the show to get us to this point. He and the Mayor’s Office have had a pretty contentious relationship for a little while, and it made sense that eventually, we would start to see things come a little bit to a boil. If Poole does decide to leave office, it’ll be rather sad to see the show without David Ramsey stopping by here and there … though we know him to be a busy guy thanks to Arrow.
