The Originals season 4 episode 7 promo: Freya faces danger

The Originals season 4 episode 7

Ready for The Originals season 4 episode 7 to air on The CW next week? We know that we certainly are, given that there are so many different things that we’re expecting to see unfold.

For one, we know already that there is a big change behind the camera for “High Water and a Devil’s Daughter” given that this is an episode directed by none other than series star Charles Michael Davis. He gets to showcase a different part of his voice, and there’s something exciting about that much like there is when Joseph Morgan takes the role on.

With that said, it’s still to be seen just how much of a role Marcel is going to have in the story, judging from the synopsis that we’ve got for you below courtesy of The CW:

The Originals season 4 episode 7 synopsis – “When it’s discovered that The Hollow’s latest servant is on the loose, Freya (Riley Voelkel) places a protection spell on the compound, forcing Klaus (Joseph), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Hope (guest star Summer Fontana) to remain inside. Meanwhile, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) takes matters into his own hands when Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) is reluctant to perform a dangerous ritual needed to strengthen their defense against The Hollow. Finally, while Freya enacts a risky plan that brings her face to face with their latest threat, an unexpected twist leaves her life hanging in the balance.”

Based on this, it seems like Freya is going to be one of the cornerstones of the episode given that we’re going to see Klaus, Hayley, and Hope stuck in a given spot for a certain period of time. With that, she will take on the mantel of hero, and we’ll have to see just how she manages to handle that.

Beyond what we see from her, we figure that there is much more that will be revealed — we do know that seeing Elijah take charge in a given situation is always worth watching.

Promo – Doesn’t this look exciting? If nothing else, it makes it clear as to some of the showdowns that are ahead. The Hollow is proving itself to be serious business, so expect to see it play a big role.
