Dancing with the Stars spoilers: Normani Kordei, Simone Biles movie dances

Biles

It’s movie week coming up on Dancing with the Stars, and we can tell you now what Normani Kordei and Simone Biles are picking.

What’s making this theme especially interesting is that we’re not only going to see songs based in a movie style, but also with a particular genre attached to them. We do think that there are some good choices here, but the thing that we’re more nervous about here is whether or not we could see some other stunning exit in the wake of what we already had with Heather Morris. That sort of shock exit would be tough two weeks in a row.

In addition to some of the dance spoilers below, we’ve also got a little bit of analysis as to if we think some of the choices work.

Simone Biles & Sasha Farber – SILENT FILMS – Charleston – “Charleston” by Bob Wilson & His Varsity Rhythm Boys

With Simone’s expressive face and her partner, she should do really well here!

Bonner Bolton & Sharna Burgess – WESTERN – Paso Doblé – “Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes” by Aaron Copland

Well, isn’t this a little too on the nose?

Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater – HORROR – Paso Doblé – “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff

The whole test here is going to come town to choreography and if they have a really good style to get into the character of this dance.

Nancy Kerrigan & Artem Chigvintsev – ROMANCE – Tango – “Oh, Pretty Woman” by Roy Orbison

Can Nancy pull off some of the romance that’s required here and get into the character of the dance? That’s the big question at present.

Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – FOREIGN – Argentine Tango – “Quizàs, Quizàs, Quizàs” by Andrea Bocelli featuring Jennifer Lopez

This will be an interesting dance, and one that in terms of style is going to be among the most challenging. It’s a good thing that Normani is a potential favorite.

David Ross & Lindsay Arnold – SCI FI – Salsa – “Universal Mind Control” by Common

We love David, but this may be the part of the competition where his flaws start to become insurmountable after losing Heather. This dance at least sounds fun!

Nick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – ACTION – Argentine Tango – “Dangerous” by David Guetta featuring Sam Martin.

We ultimately feel similar about Nick that we do with David. The three guys remaining beyond Rashad are the clear weak links of the competition.
