Agents of SHIELD season 4 spoilers: Be prepared for ‘greater enemy’
Who should the team from SHIELD be fearing at the moment? It’s a good question, but that it’s hard to formulate a precise answer to. Based on where we are in the story at present, it’s clear that the primary adversary is one Madame Hydra. Beyond that, you also have the evil Leo Fitz, with one of the biggest problems there being that you can’t really kill him, given that you run the risk that he is then killed in the real world. Seemingly, we’ve already lost on character in (spoiler alert if you’re behind!) Jeffrey Mace. We’re still waiting to see what lies ahead.
Now, let’s talk a little bit further about the concept of a different villain, a potential Big Bad to talk all of the other baddies that we’ve seen on the show as of late. With this, let’s bring you some details (via SpoilerTV) of “The Return,” which is going to be the penultimate episode of the season. Presumably, this could be one that features some of the characters outside of the Framework, but this hardly means that they are out of the woods. Take a look at the short synopsis below:
“Coulson and the team’s victory in the Framework is short-lived, revealing an even deadlier enemy looming against them all.”
One of the biggest things that we are hoping for out of this greater enemy is that it’s someone who we could see fighting SHIELD near the end of the season, but then also someone who will be a key component in a potential fifth season. After all, there are some early indications that there could still be a fifth season of the show. We do think that there’s a good chance given the recent positive ratings trajectory. We just have to wait and see now if the trend does keep going.
