Outlander season 3 notes: Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, and a Q&A

Outlander season 3 notes

There are some assorted Outlander season 3 notes that we want to get to this weekend — while none of them may shatter the internet like the teaser from this past weekend, they are all certainly still worth taking a look at.

First, let’s begin by throwing another round of congratulations to series star Caitriona Balfe, who was featured in People’s Most Beautiful issue this month! Specifically, she was recognized for her skin as a “most-wanted” trait, and she joins such other TV stars in the magazine as America Ferrera, Danai Gurira, Julianne Hough, Heidi Klum, Connie Britton, and Sophie Turner. One of the great things that the magazine continues to do is recognize women from a wide array of different ages and backgrounds.

Longtime People readers may also know that this is not Balfe’s first appearance in the magazine’s annual issue; she was also featured within the magazine in 2015. (This year’s edition is covered by the legendary Julia Roberts.)

If you are by a local newsstand, you may still be able to pick up a copy of it. Happy hunting! Let’s move forward now to a couple of other stories from the day…

What was Sam Heughan up to today?

With this being the weekend (typically there’s less filming going on Saturday/Sunday), the actor had an opportunity to take part in another longstanding project of his: His work with Barbour, where he is a global brand ambassador and takes part in a wide array of photo shoots and video spots. Whatever he worked on today is a part of a new collection, and that could be something that debuts at some point over the coming weeks and months.

Consider his message a teaser of something to look forward to later…

New Q&A session coming

Speaking of things to look forward to, executive producer Maril Davis made it clear earlier that she will be conducting a question-and-answer session coming up tomorrow on Twitter! She lists a wide array of different time zones within the post, so be sure to adjust accordingly depending on where you live.

It goes without saying that we’re excited to see what Davis has to say tomorrow; as we tend to do with these sorts of sessions, we’ll come back after it happens with some assorted highlights and analysts. It’s another bit of something fun to get us through the Droughtlander.

As always, be sure to head over to the link here if you want to get some further news when it comes to Outlander right now.
