Dancing with the Stars spoilers: Heather Morris, Simone Biles song picks

Stars spoilers

Monday night’s new episode of Dancing with the Stars is going to be carrying with it a theme of boybands versus girlbands, and you don’t have to wait any longer to get a little more information regarding some of the songs being showcased are going to be.

As always, we’re throwing in some of our own context and commentary on some of these choices, mostly because it’s a heck of a lot more interesting that way than it would be otherwise.

Simone Biles & Sasha Farber – Samba – “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child

It’s one of the most popular songs on the list, but it’s actually a difficult one to dance to given that it’s beat and the structure of the song is different than most other songs.

Bonner Bolton & Sharna Burgess – Rumba – “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys

Nick Carter is a guest judge on this episode. Sharna performed with Nick a few seasons back. Someone in production had a little fun here!

Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater – Tango – “Reach Out, I’ll Be There” by The Four Tops

It’s an older song, but a really good one. He’ll do just fine with it.

Nancy Kerrigan & Artem Chigvintsev – Paso Doblé – “Free Your Mind” by En Vogue

We’re a little worried for Nancy in terms of having a memorable song. We can easily see this getting lost in the midst of everything else that is being included in here.

Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Salsa – “When I Grow Up” by The Pussycat Dolls

There’s a little bit of a fun connection here with Normani. She was a former contestant on The X Factor. Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls was a judge on the first season of that show. We’re not sure they ever met, but still funny.

Heather Morris & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Rumba – “Waterfalls” by TLC

Heather is a child of the nineties. Odds are, she was a big fan of TLC during their peak. Also, Maks is coming back!

David Ross & Lindsay Arnold – Argentine Tango – “I Want You Back” by *NSYNC

Hey, you can’t have a boy-band week without this group on the list.

Nick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – Jive – “Fun, Fun, Fun” by The Beach Boys

The song will connect with older viewers. Personally, we’re a little shocked that there is no One Direction on the list anywhere.
