The Blacklist season 4 episode 18 promo: Is Mr. Kaplan after Agnes?

Following tonight’s two-hour episode, The Blacklist season 4 episode 18 is clearly going to have a tremendous amount of ground that it needs to cover. Not only will it need to deal with the aftermath of what happened in the “Dembe Zuma” episode, but also the tremendous blast from the past that seems to be coming your way courtesy of “Requiem,” the flashback episode that will bring you more of the Mr. Kaplan origin story.

Next week, we’ll be back to one episode a week with “Philomena,” an installment that features both a new apparent Blacklist and also the beginning of an arc for Enrique Murciano of Without a Trace fame. This is a an important part that is going to carry through the remainder of the season. As a matter of fact, there is a reasonably good chance that he ends up being a series regular in the event that the show is renewed, at least depending on what ends up transpiring for The Blacklist: Redemption — we’re still waiting in order to determine if both it and the flagship show get renewed.

Now, let’s move forward to one other order of business, and that is sharing some official details for what lies ahead.

The Blacklist season 4 episode 18 synopsis – “The Task Force chases an artful bounty hunter employed to target Red’s (James Spader) closest associates. Meanwhile, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) faces a moral dilemma when he takes on a new assignment with a former colleague (Enrique Murciano).

Warning: Spoilers from tonight ahead.

If you watched the two episodes, you know that Mr. Kaplan is orchestrating everything against Red, and this promo suggests that part of her next move could be … Agnes? We don’t think that she would kill Liz’s baby, since her goal here seems more trying to figure out how to revert back to her original mission of protecting Liz at all costs. However, she’s probably not above using the baby as bait in order to ensure that she can find another way to destroy Reddington and make him suffer for all of the ways in which he’s devastated her.
