The Bachelorette: First look at Rachel Lindsay poster
If you look below, you can see precisely how ABC is promoting this new season with Rachel … and also in turn just how similar this is to so many posters that we’ve seen from the show before. All of them tend to feature roses all over the place; frequently, you’ve also got a red dress involved. We did last year with JoJo Fletcher, and there are many other memorable ones that we’ve seen over time.
Of course, she is dressed in a way that mirrors the rose — the show is many things, and obvious is farly near the top of the list of them.
Rachel did this promotional shoot for the show at some point before filming started in March; she is now getting closer to the end of the season, or at least to the time in which she would normally do hometown dates. There is a major change to the format this season; as previously reported, the men are going to be coming to Rachel this time around rather than the other way around because of the fact that her sister is extremely pregnant; since her father already cannot appear on-camera due to his status as a judge, the show obviously wants whatever family they can get to appear on the show. They wouldn’t be able to fly her sister out at the end of the show.
Rachel will barely be through with her season at the time in which it starts to air, but she’ll at least be able to watch it in real-time. Given that she the first-ever black lead for the Bachelor franchise, there is certainly curiosity out there already regarding just how well she is going to fare.
