iZombie season 3 episode 4 promo: Liv gets gossipy

iZombie season 3 episode 4

The title for iZombie season 3 episode 4 is “Wag the Tongue Slowly,” but we will be the first to say that we wish it was “Gossip Girl.” Not only would this be the perfect callback to one of the best shows in the history of The CW, but it would also exemplify perfectly some of what’s coming.

At this point, you should be fairly used to the routine of some of these episodes if you watch the show with regularity; therefore, much of the fun now comes out of seeing some of the unique ways that the writers could up with twisting the story. You have to get Liv in a unique place while she investigates her case, and then find some interesting ways to mix that up and throw the main story in there, as well. It’s complicated, but the show does often find a way to balance out both the one-shots and the larger stories. For this episode, it seems like one of the more significant ones will revolve around Blaine and Peyton according to the synopsis below.

iZombie season 3 episode 4 synopsis – “Clive’s (Malcolm Goodwin) patience is tested when Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brain of a murder victim who had the reputation of being the ultimate office gossip. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) and Peyton (Aly Michalka) continue to grow closer as they wait to see if Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is able to reverse the effects of the cure. Lastly, Major (Robert Buckley) is one step away from fulfilling a promise.”

Promo – In typical iZombie fashion, the preview for the episode focuses almost entirely on the twist taking place … as in whatever brain Liv is eating for this particular episode. Here, we saw her becoming the local gossip, and the end results are hilarious. While we know that there is far more going on in this episode than just this, we get why The CW promotes the show like this — it’s a funny twist that keeps people discussing some of the characters and could in theory attract new fans.
