Shadowhunters season 2: Matthew Daddario hosts a live chat
Earlier today, and in the midst of season 2 filming no less, Daddario hopped on Facebook live for what proved to be a really entertaining chat. We have a feeling that we learned more about the color green and photosynthesis here than we have since high school biology.
Here are a few show-related highlights that came out courtesy of the chat, though really, we do still recommend that you check out the entire thing below since so much of what makes this fun is Daddario’s cadence and the way in which he answers some of the questions. On the state of Malec moving in season 2B – “You’re going to be upset, then you’re going to be happy, then you’re going to be like ‘what’s going on?'”
On the season 3 renewal odds – “I don’t know, we’ll see.” (Hey, at least he’s honest — we don’t have much of an indication as to if it will be back, either.)
On a general sense 2 tease – “We get to see a lot more about some of the characters [we haven’t gotten to see a lot of yet] … There are a lot of story conflicts in new places. I think you guys are going to like it.”
On what’s changed about his life since doing the show – “A lot of things … I get to travel more, which is nice.”
The second half of season 2 is going to premiere this summer, so we recommend that you check it out live … and tell your friends to do the same! We’re probably going to continue to beat the “watch live” drum a lot just because there’s this inclination now because of Netflix that we can watch TV whenever we want and it’ll automatically come back for more. Not the case for cable TV. You have to support the advertisers to keep it on the air.
