Bates Motel season 5 episode 9 promo: Last before series finale
Get prepared for Bates Motel season 5 episode 9, and with that, be prepared to get emotional. It’s hard not to with only 2 more episodes. The show has a challenge of tying together five years of story over these next two hours, and coming up a conclusion that is not only pleasing to longtime fans of this show, but also longtime fans of the original Psycho. So far, we love the way that the show’s stayed true to the Alfred Hitchcock movie, while allowing itself opportunities to shine and stand out in its own way.
We love this show, as dark and weird and twisty as it is. This one’s going to be tough to say goodbye to.
Next week, the episode “Visiting Hours” is going to air that will set up the series finale, and force characters into making key decisions. Romero is going to have to figure out what he wants to do to fight back, and is fighting back something that he should be doing. For Dylan, meanwhile, he has to figure out if he really wants to be caught up in the Bates family mess anymore. If we were him, let’s just say that we would’ve run far away from all of the chaos a rather-long time ago.

Just as we’re curious to see what the endgame is for Norman, we also have to wonder the endgame for Mother. How will Vera Farmiga factor into the final two hours of the series? With Norman’s current state, it is certainly an interesting question.
Promo – Well, this does give you an indication that Romero’s not playing around! Beyond that, it also gives you a little more of a sense of just how the show’s going to utilize Farmiga, and it’s going to be very much fascinating to see how the world sees Norma on trial versus how he does.
Also, anticipate heartbreak as Dylan is forced to question how much, even in his subconscious, that he knew.
