The Voice sneak peek: Ashley Levin and Lilli Passero’s Knockout Rounds performance

Ashley Levin and Lilli Passero

Ready to see Ashley Levin and Lilli Passero do battle in the Knockout Rounds on The Voice? We’ve got a sneak peek all about it!

These two artists are entering tonight’s episode firmly on a part of Team Alicia Keys, but only one of them is going to be able to move forward to the next round of the competition. As for who will advance … we really think it’s a matter of preference based on their performances. They’re both clearly talented enough to get to the next round, and we could even see Alicia making the decision that she does here with the awareness that whoever she doesn’t choose will be stolen for the next round.

Ashley Levin, “Fancy” – Ashley can belt some big notes, and she’s absolutely someone who understands the type of music she’s singing and the audience. She’s got a great stage presence and confidence, which is especially important for someone who is going to be doing country.

If she makes it to the next round on any team, she could be dangerous just because country music voters are devoted like nobody’s business. They got Sundance Head the title last season, and they’ve also pushed many other singers to the final rounds beyond just the other winners in Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery.

Lilli Passero, “Tears Dry on Their Own” – This is pretty great. An exceptional and unique vocal. Lilli’s been a favorite for most of the competition, though we admit that some of that is personal preference just because we love this era of music and some of what she’s able to do with it. It sounds modern, but still has some of that vintage charm.

We could see Lilli losing the battle just because of strategy. Maybe Alicia thinks that Ashley stands out more among the rest of her team, or maybe she wants to ensure that Ashley doesn’t fall into Blake Shelton’s hands given that the two of them together could be a big threat in the live shows. There are a number of interesting variables to take into consideration at this point.
