Gotham season 3 episode 15 promo: Batman begins
Is Bruce about to become Batman? Almost certainly not, given that we’re still far away from getting to that point in the show’s run. Nonetheless, this promo below suggests that we’re at the very beginnings of the transformation towards this eventually happening, and that there is something worth being excited about from that. It means an opportunity in order to see Bruce get a little more physical, and to train harder and with more purpose than ever before.
We were to look at some of the touchstones that got us to this point, it started of course with the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne. The next touchstone came a little bit further down the road, specifically in the form of Jerome. Fighting the proto-Joker was a way for Bruce to realize more than he has power out there in the field, that he could take on some of the enemies of the city without being afraid.
From here, we’re sure that there are still going to be some more problems for Bruce — Alfred’s going to be concerned about him, and Nygma is getting closer and closer to becoming the Riddler. Nobody within Gotham’s going to be happy with this! Oh, and of course you also have to worry about the Court of Owls, and the discussions that Ra’s al Ghul could eventually be coming to the city. He’s one of the architects surrounding the group, which to date has controlled much of the action in the city.
As much as we’re excited about the new batch of episodes for Gotham, we’re sure that Fox is right there with us given that the ratings for their Monday-night lineup have started to sag without it. Yet, Gotham still has not been renewed for a fourth season. Hopefully, this is something that happens in the near future.
