The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 promo: Sheldon’s hangover

The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 promo

There is something very fun about what we’ve often come to call a “hangover episode.” By this, we mean mostly an installment of a show that, like The Hangover movie, starts with a character at a certain point where they must retrace their steps and figure out precisely how it is that they got there. There’s just something consistently funny about this story, especially since it often ends with opportunities to see characters doing things that you would never imagine them doing for a second.

With that, we bring you The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 promo, otherwise known as Sheldon’s hangover. This is where the character’s going to wake up after falling asleep on a couch, and with no real recollection as to what happened to him in the hours leading up to it. We’ll see him work backwards in order to get some answers, and there are absolutely some surprising ones given that we’re going to have some opportunities to see a wide array of events happen as Sheldon gets said answers.

For example, would you ever imagine Sheldon at a cowboy bar? Probably not, but there is apparently a part of his inner Texan that does have a tendency to come out, even if it is in the back of his mind.

As for what could’ve caused him to become so disoriented and act in this way to begin with, the simple answer to that seems to be that he is overworked. He is spending so much time and effort trying to help both Amy and also Leonard / Howard, he may not understand his own limits. Add to this the fact that Sheldon barely knows how to take care of himself when he working under a fairly normal schedule, let alone when he’s got several different things going on and he’s having to balance all of it at the same time. This could easily push his already-fragile head somewhat over the edge.

Elsewhere in the episode, be prepared to see Bernadette return to work after the end of her maternity leave. That’s not mentioned in the promo, but it should be an important part of the episode just as it’s an important part of life.
