Riverdale episode 9 spoilers: What are the Blossoms up to?

After tonight’s big return, what will be coming moving into Riverdale episode 9? Let’s just say that as we get closer to the end of the season, the Jason Blossom mystery is going to shift, evolve, and go to places that you would not expect. This episode is largely just a drop in the ocean when it comes to some of what you could end up seeing.

Riverdale episode 9 synopsis – “Archie (KJ Apa) reluctantly agrees to escort Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) to her family’s official start of maple syrup tapping because he gets an offer that could help his future. Archie starts to become skeptical of the real reason the Blossoms are so eager to help him, however he gets some helpful information for Betty (Lili Reinhart) about her sister. Veronica (Camila Mendes) is trying to be nice and unbeknownst to her, befriends a classmate that her father’s illegal doings has hurt. Hermione (Marisol Nichols) is conflicted about telling Fred (Luke Perry) the truth. Meanwhile, Alice (Madchen Amick) is ready to get revenge on the Blossoms once and for all with the help of her two daughters.”

Ultimately, it looks like Archie and Alice are going to have very different experiences when it comes to the Blossoms in this episode, and we’re certainly interested in seeing just how this ends up unfolding and how the mystery is revolved. In the process, this episode give us some good insight into what Veronica is going through. To date, she’s been one of the show’s most-intriguing and fascinating characters.

Promo – Look, Archie’s going to get a date! Not only that, but there’s going to be romance! The problem that he has to face here is that in the midst of potentially honoring the Blossom bloodline, he could be in a position where he puts himself in jeopardy. He needs to keep his wits about him, but that may not be all that easy for someone his age and with so much stress already.
