Better Call Saul season 3 premiere, finale to have Talking Saul aftershow

Better Call Saul season 3

For those wondering over the fate of the Talking Saul aftershow, rest assured that once more, it will be a part of the Better Call Saul season 3 experience.

Here is what we know — AMC’s announced now that following both the April 10 season 3 premiere of the series and then also the June 12 finale, there will be a new Talking Saul hosted by Chris Hardwick, and featuring some guests who are familiar faces among the cast and crew. This is the sort of structure that this aftershow in particular has taken on for the entirety of the Better Call Saul run. It’s never been an everyday thing, nor has it needed to be. There’s probably not enough time in Hardwick’s schedule to even make that happen at this point.

Let’s run through a quick laundry list of everything that this guy has going on at the moment:

1. New episodes of Talking Dead following The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.

2. A standalone Talking with Chris Hardwick series that is going to air on AMC on some of the Sundays where there are no new episodes of the zombie drama.

3. New episodes of @midnight four days of the week.

4. New episodes of The Wall, which are going to be premiering on NBC this summer.

5. Finally, you’ve of course got the Nerdist Podcast, which remains our favorite thing by and large that Hardwick does.

The third season of Better Call Saul is highly anticipated, and for some pretty great reasons when you think for a minute about everything that it’s got going on. Not only is this a show that has things on a knife’s edge when it comes to the relationship with Jimmy and Chuck McGill, but it’s been confirmed now that Giancarlo Esposito is going to be coming on board as Gus Fring finally, after so much buildup and expectation. We figure that his story is going to be tied more to Mike Ehrmantraut in the early going, judging from the note that Mike uncovered during the most-recent finale of the show.
