The Flash season 3 episode 18 promo: Who knows Savitar’s identity?

Following the music and the glam of tonight’s “Duet,” The Flash season 3 episode 18 next week is going to get back into the nitty gritty with “Abra Kadabra.” Specifically, we mean that the story is going to focus in on the subject of Savitar’s identity, and what Barry Allen is going to need to do in order to defeat him. Do we have our theories? Sure, with one of our favorite ones being that Flashpoint altered the timeline so much that Barry eventually now turns into Savitar and is really just battling himself. There are still many others floating around out there, and all are worth investigating / discussing in their own way.

As we specifically start to look towards this episode, though, you should know that the quest to determine Savitar’s identity will put him into an almost-impossible position, one where it is very difficult for him to determine what he should do or how far he should be willing to go in order to get some of the information that he so desperately wants.

The Flash season 3 episode 18 synopsis – “The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side.”

Let’s go ahead and blast off a message out into the universe when it comes to Caitlin and Julian: Can the two get together already? It feels like this is where we’re going with this story, so we’d rather like to see if this is something that could work in terms of a romance. We rather like the idea just because Julian isn’t the sort of character you typically see in a romance. He’s more in the vein of the guy you see pop in here and there to be a grump and fire off one-liners.
