Is Riverdale new tonight? Discussing episode 8, WonderCon, more

Is Riverdale new tonight

Is Riverdale new tonight? It’s a fair question to ponder, especially because of the fact that we got a chance to see several new episodes in succession to start off the season.

Alas, it does not appear as though we’re going to get a chance to check out “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders” tonight. The show’s in the midst of its first-ever hiatus. There is no new episode airing on the show tonight, and there won’t be a new episode on the air until Thursday, March 30. Sure, that may be a rather long time to wait, but the good news is that we’re going to have a chance to see at this point new episodes in succession week in and week out.

So what’s coming up? If you missed it, you can take a look at the synopsis below:

“As Fred (Luke Perry) and his crew are about to start construction he loses his crew, which could put his livelihood in jeopardy. Wanting to help his dad, Archie (KJ Apa) and his friends pitch in to help but after one of them is attacked, the gang comes up with a plan that lands them in Southside Serpent territory. With Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) secret revealed, he is worried about how his friends will react. Meanwhile, Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) suggest throwing Polly (guest star Tiera Skovbye) a baby shower to make her feel better, but Polly is hesitant knowing how everyone feels.”

This episode is going to be a big one, especially when you think about how Jughead’s reveal could end up impacting the relationship that he’s started to form with Betty. Elsewhere, though, we are interested to see what happens with Archie as he finds himself in some further danger.
