Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 15 sneak peek: A Meredith – Riggs moment

After waiting for a rather lengthy span of time, Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 15 (otherwise known as “Civil War”) is coming onto ABC tonight. This is an episode that could feature many of its couples at various points in their relationships, and when it comes to Meredith – Riggs, we will continue to see the former deny the latter as a major force in her life.

Per the sneak peek below, you can see Ellen Pompeo’s character be pressed by Alex over whether or not she is truly into Riggs at all. She denies that the feelings are there, but at the same time, we see that Alex isn’t all that inclined to believe it. He’s in the school of “just get together already.” Meredith says that she’s not avoiding the relationship because of her sister Maggie, but you can believe that if you want. Personally, we find it rather hard to. They’ve got a flirtatious relationship and natural chemistry. For whatever reason, whether it be Maggie or something else, Meredith is simply trying to avoid it.

While the state of this relationship continues to be in flux, there are still some major questions elsewhere. For example, we have not had enough time yet to properly determine one way or another just what the feelings are between Jo and Alex at the present moment, other than that Jo seems to be happy that he didn’t go to prison. Jackson and April are still split, and while things with Amelia and Owen are tense, there may be an update-of-sorts to that tonight given that these two are finally going to have a decent amount of screen time to work with. (As we’ve said recently, this could be a big episode for the two characters.)

It’s interesting, but the couple with the most momentum right now may just be Minnick and Arizona, and it’s weird to say that given that, for the time being, there is not much validation that the two parties are going to even stay together for long! This is a show that does turn things around on a dime, so don’t be all that shocked if tonight rolls around and all of a sudden we’re in a situation where everything’s flipped and there are very different relationship dynamics as a whole.
