Hillary Clinton – ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 24 casting not happening (big surprise)

Hillary Clinton 'Dancing with the Stars' -

Don’t expect to see a Hillary Clinton ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ merger at any point in the near future. While on paper it may appear as though it’s a smart idea for ABC, that doesn’t mean that there is ANY way in which the network can convince the former Presidential candidate to do this.

According to Us Weekly, a rep reached out to Clinton to gauge some interest in her being on the show. To the surprise of nobody, she’s not interested … and why in the world would she be? While there have been occasions in the past in which politicians have been a part of the show, they are typically ones that have something to gain from being a part of it. She, at the moment, has nothing to gain at all. She has speeches, social media, and many other resources at her disposal.

Do we think that someone in her family could do the show? Sure, or we could see another prolific Democrat on there. For someone looking to make an impact, this is a nice venue. Just remember that Rick Perry was recently a part of the show, and is now leading the Department of Energy.

With this said, wouldn’t it be nice to not have any politics on the show? We’ve never loved mixing the show with politics, given there are so many other venues for it. Also, we could see there being such political fatigue at this point, regardless of politics. The last thing that you want is for anyone to quit the show just because of its tone.

What’s coming next?

The cast for “Dancing with the Stars” season 24 is set for release early next month. Bachelor Nick Viall is one of the big names mentioned for it. Also, prepare for an athlete, a few reality stars, and of course some actors. There are more names coming in the days to come, so prepare for further articles on this subject.
