‘Star’ episode 10 preview: Does the group have any future at all?

Tonight, you are going to get a good chance to see the story of “Star” pick up and continue in some interesting ways — and, hopefully you got to celebrate a little bit in the process given that the show is coming back officially for a second season!

While that news is great, we cannot exactly say that there is an abundance of good news coming at all for some of the characters who are appearing on the show next. What we know about the next new episode “Boy Trouble” is fairly simple: Right when things are starting to go well, something happens that could ruin the entire group before they get a chance to get to the next level — one that stretches far beyond the city of Atlanta.

Synopsis – “As the girls get ready for Atlanta Next Fest, a shocking development puts the group and their dreams in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Carlotta and Cotton are still at odds, but when a secret comes out, it changes things forever and the girls learn some shocking news.”

The promo below goes a little bit more in-depth into talking about the future; specifically, the final five episodes of the show are going to be a total game-changer for the show, and many of the characters who are a part of it. There are only three episodes left before we get to the end of the season, and we anticipate that there will be some sort of epic cliffhanger there. After all, we have a hard time imagining that executive producer Lee Daniels really thought that this show was only going to be a one-season thing. Plus, the journey to stardom is one that could take a while. (We just wonder if in season 3 or 4 there will be some sort of mounting pressure to get everyone in the group over to Empire Entertainment.)
