‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 24: Peta Murgatroyd, Maksim Chmerkovskiy returning
“Dancing with the Stars” has officially confirmed their first two returning pros, and they just so happen to be two who also recently became parents for the first time!
In an interview on “Good Morning America” today, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd confirmed that the two parties will be appearing on the show together this season. This marks the first time since Maks won with Meryl Davis that the couple actually were on the same season together. This wasn’t something that, many weeks ago, we were confident in happening, just because we weren’t sure what their schedules were going to be after welcoming a child to the world.
With that being said, it actually makes a great deal of sense now for the two parties to be appearing on the show together while also still raising a child. This will allow the two of them to work and live in the same place, and being a part of the tight-knit show family may help them further in raising their kid — while doing something that they love in the process. The thing about this show is that it really is an extended family, especially when you consider how many of the pros knew and competed against each other long before signing up to be a part of this ballroom.
The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” will premiere on ABC next month, and for those curious, we are slightly more than a week away now from the official cast being revealed. There are of course plenty of people out there rumored — including current “Bachelor” star Nick Viall — but for the time being, there isn’t anyone officially confirmed or even heavily reported to be on the show. If that changes, of course we’ll let you know.
