‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Phaedra Parks takes next step in divorce
Sunday’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is gonna be a bit one for many reasons — there’ll be some confrontations, some fights, some shade, and a little bit of humanity wedged in there somewhere.
Oh, and there will also be the latest desperate trend across the entire Real Housewives franchise — trying to turn your kid into a successful model. Just because Gigi and Bella Hadid did it doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone else out there will! It doesn’t naturally work like that.
Anyhow, we could go on a whole tear on that for a while, but let’s get to sharing some of the various highlights / lowlights that are going to be coming your way.
Synopsis – “The ladies return to Atlanta after a dramatic end to their glamping getaway. Cynthia begins planning her Cargo Fashion Show, presenting momager Shereé with an opportunity for Kairo to participate. Porsha wonders if Todd is ready for a serious relationship and decides to confront him with an ultimatum. Phaedra hears major news concerning her divorce, while Kenya gives Cynthia a special gift to help jumpstart her dating life post-divorce. Kandi and Porsha meet for the first time since the shocking rumors surfaced to see if they can hash out their unresolved issues.”
Focusing in – The preview that we’ve got for you below is all about Phaedra making it clear that she and Apollo Nida are officially over and done with, which we figure has gotta be some sort of relief! This is not the sort of relationship that you want to be involved with. It’s nor our place to sit here and point fingers or do ANYTHING else, but it’s clear that this was major-league toxic and almost nothing good could come from it … other than shouting matches. Even if you DO like shouting matches, don’t you realize that there are around one million other places that you can get those with this show?
Line of the entire video — “I guess when you’ve had the best, only the best will do.” This is that rare combination of humble-brag and shade-throw that so many people out there seek! Cheers to Phaedra on that.
In the end, Phaedra says that she’s happy that she’s moving on, and feels like Apollo’s doing the same given that he’s apparently got a new girlfriend.
