‘Chicago PD’ season 4, episode 14 preview: Lindsay’s gets a warning about Rixton
There’s a new episode of “Chicago PD” airing on NBC Wednesday night, and for the most part we’re extremely excited about that! However, at the same time there is a reason to be worried about one character in particular in Kenny Rixton. Specifically, we mean this in terms of a warning that she receives in the new sneak peek below that is coming in via TV Guide.
On the surface, everything starts out good enough as we see Lindsay excel in her requalification exam. Unfortunately, it’s from here that she gets a warning that she should “watch her back” regarding Rixton. Coming into his arc on the show, there wasn’t too much that was said negatively about Nick Weschler’s character on the show; he had worked before with Hank Voight in the Gang Unit, and Voight seems like the kind of guy who could easily suss out without or not someone was dirty. Yet, since he arrived here he’s already been accused of withholding information, and now we’ve got this warning.
Rixton’s longevity with Intelligence may already be called into question largely because of the fact that we’re going to see Ruzek be returning to the team sooner rather than later, and it’s only fair if you start to wonder whether or not the two men can exist at the same time. There are only so many spots in the cage!
Before we close off here, let’s take a minute or two to discuss what’s going on with Ruzek — obviously, we want there to be a big moment with him and Burgess where they talk everything out. They’re going to need to, after all, if they want to have any sort of good relationship with each other in the future. We just how that somewhere along the way, we also get an update regarding Ruzek’s undercover case just because it was such a key component to this season, and a reason why he was written off for a while.
