‘Hawaii Five-0’ – ‘MacGyver’ crossover: See Lucas Till, Daniel Dae Kim, and more together!

MacGyver -

We were hoping ever since the fall that we would get a chance to see a crossover between “Hawaii Five-0” and “MacGyver,” so rest assured that we are MORE than a little bit happy it it’s happening! The event is going to air on CBS next month during a “MacGyver” episode, and you can see a photo of Lucas Till and George Eads alongside Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park below!

Park and Kim are two of the “Five-0” actors who will be appearing in the episode (read more about it here), as you’re going to see the Phoenix Foundation crew pay a visit to Hawaii in order to take on their latest mission. Interestingly, this episode is coming after the name Dr. Madison Gray was first conjured up on “MacGyver” this past week; all fans of “Five-0” know that this character, played by Elisabeth Rohm, is a noted adversary who’s actually going to be featured in the next new installment of the show later this week.

This crossover makes sense in so many different ways. For one, both shows are executive-produced by Peter M. Lenkov, and tonally they are very similar. Both are fun action series with a ton of humor, and have characters who get more and more memorable with each passing day. We do figure that these two shows together will also give a small ratings bump, and lead to some further crossovers down the road … even though we know this can’t be all that easy to pull off given that you’re dealing with two shows that film in very different parts of the country.

As for what’s going to be coming up on “MacGyver” between now and this episode airing, we’re going to continue to see Bozer get more and more experience in the field. Meanwhile, you’re going to see a famous crime family (made famous in the original series) appear on Friday’s new episode.
