‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 16 preview: ‘Entourage’ alum Kevin Dillon guest-starring

Blue Bloods season 7There are two great things that we can say about the next new episode of “Blue Bloods” right from the get-go. For one, you’re going to get a chance to see a story that is close to the character of Linda Reagan, which isn’t something we’ve gotten a great deal of as of late. We’re down for any opportunity that we can to get to know part of her life and her life and her family even separate from her husband Danny — even if he’s very much involved in what’s coming. After all, the main story in “Hard Bargain” is about her brother!

Just in case this news is not interesting enough for you, know this: You’re going to be seeing “Entourage” alum Kevin Dillon in the role of the brother Jimmy. He’s got a little bit of a checkered past, and is why he’s going to be looking to Danny for his protection.

Synopsis – “When Linda’s brother, Jimmy (Kevin Dillon), gets into trouble with the mob, he begs Danny to help him stay safe until it blows over. Also, Frank faces a public relations nightmare when the lawyer of a wrongfully arrested man demands that NYPD officers’ disciplinary records be made public, and Nicky goes on a ride-along with Jamie, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Feb. 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Kevin Dillon guest stars as Danny’s brother-in-law, Jimmy.”

As for the Frank story, let’s just say that this is something that he’s dealt with in one vein or another on the series already. Complicated PR nightmares are a key part of the show’s bread and butter. Seeing Nicky hit the streets on a ride-along with Jamie is a little more exciting, mostly because of the fact that this is something that we haven’t quite seen before. As for why she’s doing this, we’re also excited to see. (Plus, it seems like Nicky gets to be in the forefront of around one story a season — this is her chance.)
