‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 spoilers: Be prepared for many surprising returns
The sixth season of “Teen Wolf” is going to be coming your way on MTV later this year (think summer, though that is the only 100% confirmation we have), and with that, there are going to be some opportunities to see some great tributes to the entire series gone by so far. This, of course, includes many appearances from people we’ve already come to know and love.
As for who some of those people are, the jury’s still out — we’ve made our wishlist clear, though, and at the tom of it are Colton Haynes and Crystal Reed.
For the time being, all showrunner Jeff Davis is willing to say on the subject is that there are some characters appearing in the final stretch that should make fans happy — and it should also surprise some at the same time. Here’s what he said to Entertainment Weekly:
“I can tell you we have some returning people that I’m very happy to see on set … It’s providing some fun character stuff, and some people might return in very unexpected ways.”
How these characters return should be a focus just as much as who actually returns. We’re just as guilty as anyone when it comes to thinking up names in our mind and hoping that certain people make an appearance. The reality here is that if you expect for sure that X person or Y person will show up, there’s a good chance you’ll be disappointed if they don’t turn up. Just hope that the final episodes are entertaining, and serve as a nice microcosm for the entire series — they’ll give you a little bit of humor, while at the same time a sense of danger and some genuinely high stakes. This is a show that does like to employ fear, so don’t shy away too much from that. Just don’t let it come at the expense of a happy ending for some people, given that they do very much deserve it.
