Want ‘Dancing with the Stars’ tickets in 2017? Here’s how to get a seat
The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” is coming up. The 24th season starts on March 20, 2017! Diehard “Dancing With the Stars” fans want to see the fake tans, amazing steps and strong performances up close and personal, no matter who could be on the show. Before considering who will dance on the ballroom floor, serious fans should be focused on getting “Dancing With the Stars” tickets. Seeing a live performance of “Dancing With the Stars” is an epic opportunity in Hollywood.
In 2017, tickets will be given away in a lottery system arrangement. The chance to capture a seat means being extremely proactive fan. Believe it or not, this is one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood, so you really need to be on the ball or you will miss your chance to see the show live.
The system set up for tickets is based on a lottery. Over the years On Camera Audiences (OCA) has filled the seats at the “Dancing With the Stars” studio every season. In 2017, they will be bringing fans together in Hollywood once again. The tickets are given to the fans on a standing waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
To get a seat, you need to sign up for tickets. It’s free! Include the number of tickets you would like for your party, your email address and other required details. When your request is called up by the OCA lottery system, you will be emailed a voucher. Quickly respond to claim your spots for the show.
Congratulations! You’re halfway to seeing a live performance on “Dancing With the Stars.” There is another part of the ticket process that only locals are aware of: Overbooking. As the tickets are first-come first-serve, so are the seats. Most of the time, the show audience is overbooked.
If you get a ticket, you need to be in line 90 minutes prior to the call time listed for a chance to get a seat. Otherwise you might be turned away. This is a hot show and the studio fills up fast! Why is there overbooking? Celebrities who perform on the show have priority seating for friends and family. The audience company has little control over how many seats are available during any given show, but they do their best to get everyone a spot!
Remember, the “Dancing With the Stars” tickets offered aren’t available by requesting dates, so you need to be flexible and watch your email to grab your vouchers. To keep things fair and allow as many fans as possible an opportunity to see the show live, the audience company only allows one request per email address.
