‘Poldark’ season 3: Who’s done with filming?
It may still be some time before the third season of “Poldark” premieres on BBC One, but some of the show’s cast are hitting another milestone in production!
As the post on Instagram below via Heida Reed (Elizabeth) makes it clear, she is done with filming for the third season! It’s always possible that there is ADR work or something else down the line, but at the very least you know that this particular stage of production is complete for her.
It’s safe to assume that season 3 will be an enormous one for Elizabeth in the wake of what transpired with her and Ross in season 2, coupled with her union to George and her now expecting a child. Does the baby belong to Ross, and what does it mean if it turns out to be the case? Ross and Demelza are just starting to get their own love life back in order after his infidelity, and this decision could end up coming back to haunt him once more and setting their relationship back further. Meanwhile, it could further accelerate the rivalry that already exists between Ross and Warleggan, given that they’ve already traded barbs aplenty and squared off in terms of business interests. There will be issues aplenty that abound in the new season, as well as some new problems that arise from some unexpected sources.
For those wondering, last year Aidan Turner wrapped up filming for season 2 in March. There’s no word exactly on when he will be done with the season this time around, but rest assured that we will have some further news on that subject as soon as it is made clear. As of right now, the third season is still lacking a premiere date — but rest assured, it will be coming your way at some point during 2017.
