‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 3, episode 12 preview: What’s been done to Wes’ body?
Tonight, “How to Get Away with Murder” on ABC delivered an episode that contained several of the shocks that you’d expect from this show at this point — but, there are still four more episodes to go, and you have to know well enough at this point that the writers are not going to be satisfied with what they’ve done so far. They’re going to find a way to alter and twist the game again.
Case in point, the promo below for the next new episode of the show on ABC, which signals that there could be some new charges coming Annalise’s direction. If that wasn’t enough of a twist, how about something unusual being at the morgue where Wes’ body should be? Given Laurel’s reaction at the tail end of the promo, we’ve got to believe that there is something other than his body lying in there. Whatever that is will probably what really turns this next new episode into something crazy.
Synopsis – “Tensions in the courtroom run high, as the prosecution seeks to bring forth a new charge against Annalise. Meanwhile, Nate uncovers a crucial piece of information that could threaten his own innocence, as detectives call Oliver in for questioning.”
One other thing worth noting is that Annalise’s mother (the incomparable Cicely Tyson) is also going to be back around for this episode. The show doesn’t necessarily use this character as much as they should, but they do find good uses for her every time that we see her pop up and it’s rather easy to be grateful for that. The issue here is that Annalise is dealing with so much shame and anger that it’s hard to even know if she is going to have a chance to even let her mother help her. She needs every drop of love that she can, though, especially when she’s made it so easy for people to not want to love her.
