‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: Maggie’s mother and more
If you have been hoping to see a Maggie-specific story on the thirteenth season of “Grey’s Anatomy,” we come bearing great news: The upcoming February 9 episode of the show entitled “None of Your Business” could prove itself to be a great showcase for the character. This offers up a chance to learn more about her through the arrival of her mother, even if not all that much is clear about the relationship that she’ll have with the character. We absolutely already know a thing or two about the relationship that she has with Richard Webber.
For us, let’s just celebrate the fact that Maggie is going to be getting a story that is not about either her sisters or a romantic interest. It’s something new, and as a result of that, it’s something exciting.
As for what else is coming over the course of the episode, be prepared to see Miranda Bailey in one of her biggest pickles to date. She hired Eliza Minnick in order to ensure that the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital would run better; unfortunately, since that time she’ll have seen protests and complaints aplenty. Webber is beloved; it’s like taking the Jolly Green Giant away from the brand bearing its name — sure, the product is still there, but it’s without the guy that makes it great. Suppressing Webber is going to have consequences, and on this episode you’ll see that when one of the doctors determines that they’d rather not spend too much time collaborating with Webber.
Finally, here’s one final bit of scoop that we’ve got to pass along: Stephanie is going to find herself in a tough spot in the midst of Owen and Amelia’s personal drama. Does this mean that our CarterMatt Awards winner Caterine Scorsone is returning in this episode? Maybe, but there are still ways for her to be referenced without her appearing in the flesh. She’ll be back soon enough, so no reason to worry.
