ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Is Cyrus guilty? The hunt is on

Scandal -The sixth season of “Scandal” arrived to us on ABC, and it wasted little time pushing the story forward.

Now, why not take a minute to take a step back? This is the focus of the next new episode of the next new episode, entitled “Hardball,” is going to be. You’re going to get a chance to reflect on the path that got many of the characters on Election Night. While the entire episode may not be told in this format, it’s going to be a valuable component to the story. Sometimes, you have to understand the past in order to better figure out the future.

Synopsis – “After a tight race and shocking conclusion to the election, flashbacks reveal what happened on the campaign trail and just how far Olivia was willing to go to win.  Meanwhile, Fitz and Abby are faced with an unprecedented national crisis, and the gladiators are determined to get answers.”

Should anyone bet that surprised to learn that Kerry Washington’s character went to extreme measures in order to secure her victory? Probably not, given that this is just the person that she is. She’ll do everything that she can to achieve victory, but what could prove troublesome is if some of her actions end up having some far-reaching ramifications. That’s probably the sort of thing that we’ll get a chance to see as the season starts to press onward.

As for Fitz and Abby, let’s just say that we find it fun anytime we see the word “unprecedented” used when it comes to this show just because of ALL of the crazy stuff that tends to happen within this world. Isn’t there a precedent for everything at this point?

Promo – This looks crazy, to say the least. The “unprecedented crisis” isn’t just that the President-elect in Vargas was killed; it’s that Jennifer Fields, a campaign worker, implicated Cyrus as the person responsible in a phone recording. Now, Olivia’s got to do what she can to prove him to be guilty.
