‘Madam Secretary’ season 3 star Tim Daly breaks legs in skiing accident, will still appear in upcoming episodes

Secretary -There was a scary situation that unfolded this week for one of the stars of “Madam Secretary” in real life; luckily, all indications are that Tim Daly is going to be just fine. He may just need a little bit of TLC first (not to mention surgery).

According to Variety, Daly broke both of his legs in a skiing accident while at Sundance; while he will recover, at the same exact time this injury has a recovery time of six to eight weeks. This means that the show is probably going to need to write around the injury. They don’t have to necessarily injure Daly’s character of Henry McCord, but they’ll have to figure out some way to handle this that makes sense. We have a feeling that there is only so long that they would be able to film scenes of him sitting down and not really being all that active in terms of activity.

As of right now, there are no plans for this injury to cause any significant impact when it comes to the production of the show, or Daly’s ability to appear in any episodes. We imagine that the producers of the show could just adjust things around to accommodate him in the coming days, and then have him make up for lost time a little bit later down the road. The show continues to have a devoted following, and Daly and his character are a big part of the reason why. We certainly think that with everything that is going on in the world right now, the show is not going to be short of material in the slightest.

Of course, we’re sending all of our well-wishes Daly’s way as he begins his recovery. New episodes of “Madam Secretary” are going to continue airing on CBS Sunday nights. If there some other update coming up when it comes to his condition, rest assured that we’ll have the news for you here.
