‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 13 video: Prepare for big Brian Dietzen – Jimmy episode
On Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS,” you’re going to have a chance to check out a story in “Keep Going” that is like no other this season to date. Specifically, you’re going to see the point of view of one Jimmy Palmer in a way that we have not seen it through most of the season to date.
The sneak peek video below serves as a nice little window into specifically what we’re going to be seeing, especially when it comes to Palmer and his attempts to do whatever it takes in order to be a hero. When he and Ducky arrive to the scene, they quickly hear reports of a man exhibiting some erratic behavior patterns. Mere moments later, we get a glimpse of this said man on a ledge, seemingly ready to jump to his death. In the midst of all the confusion, Palmer runs up to the ledge, and does his best to pull him back inside. Understandably, this freaks the rest of the team out.
Why Palmer? There is probably something to this that speaks to his inherent need to bring good into the world. We don’t think of this as being about him wanting to supersede the NCIS team itself in terms of their heroism; he just saw a problem and reacted, realizing that there may not have been time to inform someone else as to what was happening. Unfortunately for Jmmy, what he seems to realize soon after getting out on this ledge is that the man is not exactly receptive to his attempts to bring him in. Not only that, but we’re not even sure that the two can get inside now that they are facing so much danger and fear. (How would you handle the situation if you were in it?)
“Keep Going” will be a nice showcase for Brian Dietzen as an actor, which is nice given that we’ve been clamoring for more of him for quite some time now. Also, by the end of the hour you’re probably going to learn a few new things about the character that you did not know previously. More on that later tonight…
