‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7 spoilers: Love is in the air for Valentine’s Day episode

Hawaii -Do you love “Hawaii Five-0,” and do you love … well, love? Then you’re probably going to appreciate the fact that there is a big Valentine’s Day episode coming up this season, and we can offer up a few details on it right now!

On the upcoming February 10 episode of the show, you’re going to get a chance to see both McGarrett and Danny celebrate the big holiday with their girlfriends, which for Sarah Carter fans out there means a moment of rejoicing. Lynn is back … at least for this one episode. Maybe these couples will experience some romantic bliss, but all indications suggest that it will not be particularly long-lasting given that, to use the whole cliche, crime never takes a break! This is even true for one of the most beautiful places in the world.

During this episode, you’re going to see some other members of the Five-0 try to figure out how a man was killed — which seems about right for this show. The twist is that this man was taking a class all about how to land women. Is someone else in said class involved? Did he bomb so badly in trying to pick someone up that he was killed for it? Is this all a red herring? All are valid questions, but you’re going to have to wait for a little while to find out.

For a show like this, romance is always going to be a tricky proposition just because of the fact that so many of your love interests are recurring characters, and some of them are on other shows. For a while, that was going on with Kono and Adam given that Ian Anthony Dale was on “Murder in the First” (he may be a bit more free for appearances following that show’s cancellation). Now, you’re seeing some of that with Julie Benz on “Training Day” limiting the amount of time for Chin and Abby. No matter which character you’re talking about, finding time to get love interests on board and balancing that out with cases is always going to be a challenge. In some ways, maybe that is for the best given that the focus of this show should always be on the Five-0 team itself first and foremost.
