‘Girl Meets World’ season 4: Is there any hope for renewal left?

Girl Meets World -Today, the Disney Channel is airing the season and possibly series finale of “Girl Meets World,” and there is still a part of us that doesn’t want to accept that — just as within the show itself, there are many characters who are having a really hard time accepting the idea of Riley moving to London with the rest of her family. (There are no spoilers on the finale episode here, so there’s no reason to worry about that.)

Instead, for the sake of this article we want to spend a moment or two thinking about the future, and what it could be for this show now that the network has formally canceled it. Is there a hope that another network or provider could pick up the show?

Technically, yes. There are many different outlets and mediums out there that could easily consider picking the show up and giving it another chance. Unfortunately, there’s a difference between contemplating such a move and then going about and actually doing it. They have to find an outlet that is willing to take on the cost of making the show, and also the cost of promoting something that they haven’t had much ownership of to date. We do think that some of these hopes were dashed by the recent announcement that Netflix is reportedly not looking to pick the show up. Given that it was the streaming home for the series, it comes as a huge blow.

If you want to keep fighting for the show to return, the one bit of advice that we have for you is rather simple: Don’t give up on it. Continue to tell your friends to support the show, and continue campaigning every single step of the way. Even if the show does end, the one bit of advice we can offer you is to take the themes of the show to heart. Don’t be afraid to take on the world, and pay attention to many of the life lessons that are around you.
