‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 13 preview: Is more movement for Jamie, Eddie coming?

When are Jamie and Eddie going to be getting together on “Blue Bloods”? We know that this is one of the questions that is most-commonly asked, and one of the biggest reasons why is simply because there is such a love around the idea of the two of them together. Also, there are not many other stories on this show that tend to continue from one week to the next, so as a viewer of this show, you want to have something to latch on to.

Well, we know moving into Friday night’s new episode “The One That Got Away” that there is going to be some interesting progression on this front given the state of things between Eddie and her recent boyfriend. Apparently, they are going to be no more, and for the simple reason that the boyfriend saw her in action, and doesn’t seem to think that he can handle that life anymore. Obviously, he was well aware that she was a police officer before this moment, but sometimes there is a little bit of difference between the idea of something and then actually seeing it in action. This may be at the center of everything that we’re seeing here.

While it definitely does seem at the moment as though this leaves the door open for Jamie and Eddie to consider things more, there is one problem that seems to be coming into the equation here: Jamie at the same time may be getting a new love interest of his own! After the incident, the sister of Eddie’s boyfriend seems to be having the opposite reaction to seeing him in action, and now all of a sudden seems to be very interested in getting to know him better.

We’ll see how all of this pans out; one way or another, we have a really hard time thinking that we’re anywhere near the end of the road when it comes to this storyline.
