‘The X Factor’ UK standouts 5 After Midnight finally get record deal

The good news just keeps coming for some contestants from this past season of “The X Factor” UK. Today, after many weeks of rumors, the news was finally confirmed that 5 After Midnight have a record deal with Syco Music! What this means effectively is that the three guys, who finished in third place, are going to have a chance to release some new music under the label a little bit later this year.

As of right now, 5 After Midnight is the fourth artist to get some sort of major deal with either Syco or somewhere else. Of course, Matt Terry received one as a result of him winning the show, and we also saw a deal handed down to Saara Aalto, who came in second who could be an especially big star all over Europe. Meanwhile, Honey G had a special deal arranged for her where she would have an opportunity to release singles with the label — unfortunately, her first song “The Honey G Show” turned out to be a major flop and we haven’t had a chance to hear all that much from her since.

These three guys may have a better shot at being future stars than almost anyone, largely because they’ve got a combination of everything that you would want. They’re not only very good singers, but they are gifted performers and know how to move about the stage and entertain the crowd. They perform the sort of music that is immensely popular at the moment, so in theory, they would make the perfect artists to go out there and sell millions of records.

As for whether or not this will happen, it really is something you have to take a wait-and-see approach on. For the time being, we know that we’re more optimistic about them than many other acts who have come out of the show the past few years.
