‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: First news on (possible) Nick Viall – Vanessa Grimaldi date

Vanessa -Is Vanessa Grimaldi receiving the next one-on-one date on “The Bachelor“? That remains to be officially seen, but all signs point to her being the lucky recipient of the date card. She’s been seen in previews having conversations with Nick Viall in more of an isolated setting, and we haven’t seen her in the midst of any of the photos that have been released from the other dates. We’re not sure why ABC hasn’t released images for this one-on-one date yet, just because the synopsis below certainly makes things look as though they’ll be really interested:

“Nick and one stunning woman take their relationship to new heights as they board a Zero G plane. Unfortunately, the bachelorette’s stomach is doing flip-flops – and not the romantic kind. How will this challenging date affect the couple’s future?”

Yes, this is the sort of date that makes us wonder “why do this” — we do think that it’ll look really cool to see the two floating around, but dealing with any sort of fear or sickness doesn’t exactly scream “romance.” Luckily, odds are there’ll be some sort of fancy dinner afterwards because there almost always is.

Beyond the zero gravity and the fear, though, we could still see confrontations. If Vanessa is the recipient of this date card, she’ll probably use some of her alone time to question Nick hard about some of his recent choices, including not coming clean to all of the women right away that Liz was a part of the show. If we were him, we wouldn’t done this on the toast at the very first night regardless of whether or not he was going to keep her. Now, there could be women wondering if Nick is harboring secrets about other people who are a part of the series.

Oh, and there’s one other detail that we forgot to mention in our recent post discussing the Backstreet Boys group date that is coming on Monday’s episode: Becca Tilley and Ashley Iaconetti are going to be there. Don’t worry — we don’t get the sense that either one of them is going to be joining the season like Nick did on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. Instead, this feels a little bit more like they were big Backstreet Boys fans and simply wanted to “help” — otherwise known as meeting the band.
