‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 8 preview: The search for Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles intensifies in ‘Blitzkrieg’
Are we going to see a happy reunion on “Teen Wolf” sooner rather than later? That is obviously the hope at present, but we’re still so early in the game that it is hard to know for certain. The one thing we know with confidence is this: There’s probably going to be some scenes of Stiles back together with the pack before we get around to the end of the season. Otherwise, what was the point of all of this? We know that this can be a brutal and violent show at times, but we do think that the producers behind the scenes are not so sadistic that they actually want there to be some sort of miserable and super-depressing show at the end of all of this.
Next week, we’re going to have a story entitled “Blitzkrieg,” and based on some of the early information that’s out there, Scott and company are going to make more of an effort than ever in order to get him back.
Synopsis – “Scott, Lydia and Malia decide to storm the rift in an attempt to get Stiles back; and Liam, Hayden and Mason make a deal with Theo in order to learn Douglas’s real plan.”
What we do like about this episode based on the synopsis alone is that we are going to get some great team-ups between various factions … but we worry about anyone making a deal with Theo. We worry about anyone having anything to do with Theo, since we know that it could cause some problems.
Promo – There is hope for finding Stiles now that his father is starting to come around. Meanwhile, there could be some more vulnerabilities on the way to trying to get him back. On a different note, we’re absolutely curious to get some more details regarding Mr. Douglas and what he really means to the larger story — or if Corey is safe after that super-freaky cliffhanger tonight. Unfortunately, there are no new clear answers based on what we’re seeing here. With that being said, we do imagine that his purpose will reveal itself before long.
