‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ episode 5 preview: Warren Buffett, See’s Candies, and advice

Logo -When it comes to getting some notable personalities on board this season of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” you do have to give the show credit: The got some notable names on board this time, whether it be Tyra Banks in the premiere or Warren Buffett next week. The famed financial guru is going to be taking on a task with See’s Candy that will require them to actually travel out to Omaha in order to see him in person. This should be fun, but hopefully also more competitive than what we saw tonight.

Synopsis – “The celebrity contestants are posed with creating a marketing campaign for Kawaski motorcycles and aren’t afraid of pushing boundaries. Moo.la founder and CEO, Gemma Godfrey, assists celebrity attorney Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger in overseeing the celebrities campaigns. As one team approached this task with humor, the other team seemed to take gender roles seriously – maybe too seriously. In the second episode the teams are shaken up and it’s no longer ladies versus gentlemen. They are presented with creating a new See’s Candy for none other than world famous chocoholic Buffett. Two representatives from each team are flown to Omaha, Neb., to present the candy to Buffett in person. Preparation is key in this task as one team fails to do their homework.”

If there is one major takeaway that we had from watching the show tonight, it’s simply this: If you want to do well on this show, you really need to be competitive and show that you want to be there. While we do love “The Celebrity Apprentice” in general, the bummer tonight is that both Eric Dickerson and Snooki effectively eliminated themselves from the show courtesy of some of their comments in the boardroom. We’re not saying that they quit per se, but they had to know that speaking the way that they were was going to lead to their time on the show ending.

Now that we’ve said all of this, we’ll admit now that we’ve never heard of Moo.la in our entire life. That doesn’t happen that often with companies that appear on the show, so we are very interested to learn more about them.
