‘Power’ season 4 teaser: New photo featuring 50 Cent

The fourth season of “Power” is not going to be premiering on Starz until we roll around to the summer, but we still gotta give the network a little bit of credit here for their continued effort releasing some photos and other teasers for what is coming up!

Today, what we’ve got is a quick look at the character of Kanan played by 50 Cent on the series — and he certainly doesn’t look altogether thrilled with his present situation. As a matter of fact, he looks either concerned or annoyed — it’s hard to know which.

What we do know is that when the show left off, 50’s character was in the midst of some nefarious actions. While he hadn’t necessarily captured Jamie’s son Tariq, he managed to rope him in and be the worst influence possible on him. He’s not your typical villain who just wants to see his rival die; he wants to destroy him from the inside and corrupting his son is clearly one of the best ways possible to do just that.

How long will Kanan stick around now? That is one of the bigger questions now on a meta level given 50 Cent’s recent comments that the upcoming season of the show could be his last over the snubs that continue to come the show’s way via the major awards shows. We do feel the frustration, but at the same time, you gotta make this for the fans more so than anyone else. Here’s to hoping that he realizes that along the way and keeps moving forward.
