‘Scorpion’ season 3: What could Toby, Happy’s wedding look like?
Mrs. Carter: Could the much-awaited “Scorpion” wedding happen this season?
Of course, we obviously would want to see it sooner rather than later given that we know that the love between Happy and Toby is here to stay. They have a great back-and-forth dynamic where they each help each other shine, and at the same exact time, they’ve also got a vast amount of love that is there between them … and there are a lot of different ways that we could see a wedding for them going.
While we could spend a good bit of time discussing whether or not a wedding between the two of them could happen this season, we want to focus in the discussion on something a little bit different: What we could see if or when it does happen.
A small affair – We have a hard time seeing Happy as someone who wants some sort of enormous wedding. Not only that, but shows often opt for smaller affairs for budgetary reasons. Right now, we’re leaning towards that as much as we could see Toby pushing for this to be a huge bash.
Key roles for the team members – Could Paige be Maid of Honor, or Walter the Best Man? We have to imagine that the team will be involved in some way. Maybe we’ll have a Flower Droid rather than the Customary Flower Girl!
It’ll probably happen right in the middle of some life-or-death crisis – When you think back to the history of TV weddings, especially when it comes to shows like this, there are so few examples of them actually taking place in times of peace. More often than not, they happen during times of peril and they find a way to get the wedding wedged in.
Cold feet? – We doubt that would happen. Toby would cut up his hat to marry her and Happy is committed.
As for where the wedding could happen, we don’t see it happening at the beach — we’re much more inclined to see it happen right in the middle of the desks and all of the clutter back in the garage. Granted, it would be nice to get another filming location in there to associate the wedding with something other than work, but we assume that whatever the crisis of the week is, it will disrupt the wedding and they will end up having it back at the garage – it seems to be a staple of dramas.
