‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4 video: First look at Tom Mison, Janina Gavankar together

It’s been a long time since we saw the characters of “Sleepy Hollow” on the air, and when we did last see them, it involved saying bye to a beloved member of the show in Abbie Mills. Not having Nicole Beharie on the series moving forward will present a number of challenges, mostly because she was so popular among many fans and it’s going to be strange not having our pair of familiar Witnesses together.

Yet, the show is going on, and it is doing so early next month with what is effectively a reboot of the entire series. While Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood are still around, we are moving everyone down to a new city in Washington, where we presume that there are going to be some more threats and creatures to take on.

In addition to that, we’re also going to have a brand-new co-star entering the mix at the same time in Janina Gavankar (“True Blood”). The promo below makes it clear that she’s not going to be much of a believer in demons and the whole supernatural world when these two first collide, but we have a pretty good feeling that it’s really not going to take a heck of a long time in order for her to start to understand his viewpoint. It rarely ever does with this show.

While we understand the thinking of people who think at this point that there is no reason to even continue watching, at the same time isn’t this at the very least worthy of a chance? With a show like this, there’s always a chance that it could surprise you — as skeptical as we are that the show can still be as great as it once was, we’ll be taking a look at the first few episodes.
